At Providence Church, our aim is to keep our congregation informed about the various ways the Lord is active within our local and global mission efforts. That's why, on the final Sunday of each month, during the 10:40 a.m. service, we will host a workshop led by Pastor Michael or a guest speaker from either a local or global partner organization. These workshops will showcase mission work, testimonies, and opportunities for involvement in specific ministries. We invite you to join us as we come together to delve deeper into our shared journey of Following Christ Together, both locally and globally.

ON GOING SERVICE OPPORTUNITY WITH LAURA'S HOME

We're excited to share volunteer opportunities and how we as a church serve our community together. We will come alongside the families and residents at Laura's Home on the second Saturday of each month.

Our aim is to not simply to serve dinner and engage with the residents and families, but is rather to create sustainable opportunities to pour into these families and replicate these efforts on a regular basis.

CORNERSTONE PREGNANCY SERVICE

Cornerstone Pregnancy Services provides life-affirming support to women, including material aid for families and babies. Your donations will be used in the "Baby Boutique," where families can earn Baby Bucks/Dad’s Dollars by attending classes. These funds allow them to shop for their baby's needs. Your gifts help women in difficult situations while also providing opportunities for Cornerstone and Providence to build relationships and share the love of Christ. BABY BOUTIQUE

DOMESTIC OUTREACH

Domestic Missions at Providence Church is focused on having an impact locally and nationally. Locally, we work in Lorain and western Cuyahoga County. Here, the goal is to mobilize the church body to minister to local residents in tangible ways. Through Vacation Bible School, material assistance, and serving the community, Providence’s church family seeks to reach our neighbors for Christ and bring them into our fellowship so that we can begin the journey of Following Christ Together. Nationally, we work the United States. Providence sends teams to share God’s love and Word in practical ways including inner city ministry.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT MINISTRY

IInternational Student Ministry (ISM) at Providence Church serves international students at Lorain County Community College, offering friendship, hospitality, and opportunities to learn about the Bible. We partner with International Friends and the Navigators to broaden our reach. Contact us to learn how you can get involved.

Providence Church partners with The City Mission to support individuals and families in crisis in Cleveland through volunteering, donations, and prayer. We offer practical help and spiritual encouragement, helping people rebuild their lives and move towards self-sufficiency. Providence Church partners with Spirit of Faith Adoptions to support families through the open adoption process. By walking alongside birth parents, adoptive families, and adoptees, SOFA helps provide guidance, education, and a loving community. Global Missions at Providence Church primary goal is to minister to groups with cultural backgrounds significantly different from those of most Providence members, with a primary focus on areas outside the U.S. Through strategic partnerships, outreach initiatives, and hands-on service, Providence aims to share the gospel with people from diverse cultures and regions. Our mission is to build lasting relationships, meet the practical needs of these communities, and share the message of Christ, all while cultivating a global fellowship of believers.

CENTRAL ASIA AND SHORT-TERM MISSIONS

Providence Church supports those who are fulfilling the Great Commission overseas. We support missionaries and missions work in a number of global areas. We also encourage members of the congregation to take part in missions efforts outside of the United States, and often facilitate short-term trips to a variety of areas. The goal of CCI is to equip Christlike servants who equip Christlike servants who passionately and effectively serve in local church ministry, church planting and cross-cultural missions. Crossing Cultures International conducts Christian ministry in 6 continents in over 33 nations across Asia, Africa and the Americas. In several of these nations followers of Christ face persecution or discrimination.

J-Hope's purpose is to share the love of Christ with children and adolescents with various special needs and to educate families, schools, and professionals in how to help them. THE PAN-AFRICAN ACADEMY OF CHRISTIAN SURGEONS

The Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS) is a strategic response to the need for surgeons in Africa. PAACS trains African physicians as surgeons to care for the poor and the sick. PAACS also disciples these surgeons to share the love of Christ with their patients to bring hope to those who are suffering.

Sustainable Medical Missions trains and supports indigenous healthcare and faith leaders in underdeveloped communities across Africa and India to treat Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and other endemic conditions affecting the poorest community members by pairing faith-based solutions with best practices.

ESEPA

ESEPA (Escuela de Estudios Pastorales Evangélicos) is a theological seminary in Costa Rica that trains leaders for ministry throughout Latin America. Their focus is on developing servants with hearts for God's work through academic programs, certificates, diplomas, and graduate degrees. By partnering with ESEPA, Providence Church can support the next generation of Christian leaders in Latin America, equipping them with biblical knowledge and ministry skills. This partnership allows us to play a role in expanding the Kingdom of God and empowering local leaders.
