Christ was a craftsman, a scholar, a leader - and He chose a group of men to encourage one another as they followed Him. The Men’s Community at Providence Church seeks to do the same as we run this race together.
The Men’s Community exists to build men up in faith, knowledge, and maturity in Christ. Bible studies, corporate prayer, social events, and retreats are tools for strengthening one another as courageous Christian men.
Bible Studies
The men's Bible study will kick off for the fall on September 2! Spend time each week studying the Word of God with other Providence men. The topic of study will be "Filled with the Holy Spirit."

Events & Retreats
Each year, the men of Providence set aside several days to go on adventures together. These include weekend rafting trips, conferences, backyard barbecues, and retreats. Participating in sporting leagues such as softball and golf have also been a large source of encouragement and camaraderie among the men of Providence.

The men of Providence are invited to push the pause button, get away from the daily grind, and join us in Fairview, MI at Camp Barakel! We'll spend the weekend adventuring, connecting with others, and digging into God's Word.
You might come for the activities or you might just enjoy relaxing. There are 350 acres to explore, including all the frontage on spring-fed Shear Lake - kayak, canoe, boat, and fish (no license required), use the Rifle Range (.22's provided) or Archery Range, go mountain biking, climb the bouldering wall, take a hayride through the Huron National Forest, enjoy the fully-equipped game room, play football, soccer, volleyball, softball, or (for an additional fee) take a canoe trip down the historic AuSable River.
Plan to take Friday off of work - we'll leave Providence at 9am on Friday and enjoy the trip to MI by spending some time at Cabela's in Dundee on our way to Camp Barakel.
